Overview

Performance Insights aggregates data across all your tagged sessions to surface recurring patterns. The more matches you tag, the more meaningful the output becomes.

What Insights shows

Rally patterns

• Win / loss rate per rally type
• Average rally length (shots per exchange)
• Breakdown by court zone where rallies were won or lost

Shot tendencies

• Most used shot types and their outcome rates
• Attacking vs defensive shot balance
• Sequence patterns — what shots tend to follow each other

AI briefing

The Briefing section uses Claude to generate a short written summary of what the data shows. It highlights your strongest patterns and flags areas worth focusing on in training.

Getting useful results

Insights becomes meaningful once you have 5 or more tagged sessions. With fewer sessions the sample size is too small for reliable patterns.

Tips:

• Tag the same types of matches (competitive vs training) separately so you can compare like for like.
• Use consistent shot labelling across sessions for cleaner pattern detection.
• Add rally notes when something stands out — the briefing can reference these.

Filtering

You can filter Insights by date range or session tag to focus on a specific period or match type.

Updating data

Insights refreshes automatically when you save a new session or edit an existing one. There is no manual refresh required.
