Match Tracker
Prepare a match, review rallies and shots, and use the tracker editor confidently.
Overview
Match Tracker is the main workspace for turning match footage into structured data. It combines video playback, rally review, shot tagging, player setup, project status, and finalization in one place.
Use Match Tracker when you want to:
- Submit a match for automatic tracking.
- Review a completed tracking project.
- Edit rallies, shots, outcomes, or notes.
- Finalize a project so it can feed dashboard insights.
Creating a tracker project
Open Match Tracker and create a new project. Pick the match video you want to use, then complete the setup flow.
The setup flow asks for:
- Match type: singles or doubles.
- Player names and court positions.
- Player handedness.
- Player snapshots from the video.
- Optional match segments.
Use segments when only part of the video should be tracked. For example, you can exclude warmup, breaks, dead time, or post-match footage.
Automatic tracking
Inside the tracker editor, choose Track Match Automatically to send the project into the tracking queue. The button first asks for confirmation and shows:
- Estimated token cost.
- Current token balance.
- Estimated finish time when available.
If you do not have enough tokens, the app will show the shortage and link you to buy more.
Manual review
When you are reviewing a project, use the editor to inspect rallies and shots against the video. You can adjust the tracked data before finalizing.
Common review tasks include:
- Correcting rally start or end times.
- Reviewing shot sequence accuracy.
- Editing winners, errors, and outcomes.
- Checking player attribution.
- Adding notes for context.
Finalizing a project
Finalize only when the match data is ready to use. Finalized projects are treated as complete and can contribute to dashboard-level insights.
If you need to submit a finalized project for automatic tracking again, reopen it for review first.
