Coaching with GGAB
What the coaches dashboard is, how the Coach plan and its token pool work, and what you can and can't see about your athletes.
What the coaches dashboard isLink to this section
The coaches dashboard is a separate workspace for running a group of players. From one place you can see who needs your attention, track matches for your athletes, study their match data, and assign training and see whether it got done.
It is part of the Coach plan. Your athletes use the normal GGAB app, and everything you do for them lands in their own account.
Sign inLink to this section
Go to coach.getgoodatbadminton.com and sign in with your GGAB email and password. It is the same account you use in the player app, but the coaches dashboard keeps its own sign-in, so you'll sign in once on each.
If your account isn't on the Coach plan yet, you'll see what the plan includes and a button to get it. Player app at the bottom of the sidebar takes you back to your own matches any time.
Finding your way aroundLink to this section
The sidebar has two groups:
- Coaching: Athletes (your home page and roster), Training plans, and Training results.
- Analysis: Match breakdown, Trends, and Compare athletes.
Settings is below them. The coaches dashboard opens in light mode. Use the switch at the top if you prefer dark.
How the plan worksLink to this section
- Unlimited athletes. Add as many as you need. There is no seat count.
- Every athlete on your plan gets full Pro, with no subscription of their own.
- One shared token pool. Coach includes 200,000 tokens a month, or 3,000,000 up front on the yearly plan. Unused tokens roll over and never expire.
- A monthly cap per athlete. Each athlete on your plan can spend up to their cap from your pool each month. It starts at 15,000 and you can change it on the athlete's page. Matches you submit yourself don't count against an athlete's cap.
- Athletes who already pay for Pro keep their own plan and spend their own tokens. They show as Own Pro on your roster. If their plan ever lapses, yours covers them while you're linked.
See your pool, your billing, and how many athletes are on your plan under Settings. For what tokens buy, see Tracking and Tokens.
What you can see, and what you can'tLink to this section
Being linked to an athlete is an agreement, and the athlete can end it at any time. Here is exactly what it covers.
| You can see | Only if the athlete shares it | Never |
|---|---|---|
| Their tracked matches, insights and trends | Goals, effort and reflections, one session at a time | Their chats with the AI |
| Whether training you assigned got done | Wearable recovery data (off until they turn it on) | Playback of their match video from their account |
| Every session they log, as a count |
Nothing about an athlete shows until they accept your invite. Your own coaching notes are the other way round: only you see them, and the athlete never does.
Your first fifteen minutesLink to this section
- Add your first athlete by email.
- Track a match for them, or let them upload their own.
- Build a workout and assign it.
- Come back to Athletes in a week. The page tells you who is slipping and who is improving.
